Fall 2026 Registration Age Breakdown

AYSO uses a school-year age matrix with an August 1 cutoff to determine player divisions. This aligns with U.S. Soccer and other major youth soccer organizations.

A player’s division is based on their age during the school-year timeframe of August 1 through July 31.

Example:
A player who is 5 years old on August 1 will play in the 6U division for that fall season.

This structure helps keep players with their classmates and friends, making it easier for kids to learn, grow, and enjoy the game together.
