The 1950 John Deere G was the flagship model of John Deere’s two-cylinder tractor lineup during the late 1940s and early 1950s. Known for its large size and strong pulling power, the Model G was designed for heavy fieldwork on larger farms. It featured a reliable two-cylinder gasoline engine that delivered impressive torque, making it ideal for plowing, disking, and belt-powered tasks. Farmers valued its durability, simple mechanical design, and distinctive sound produced by the two-cylinder engine. The 1950 version included improvements in comfort and performance. Produced from 1937 to 1953, the John Deere G remains one of the most iconic and collectible tractors in farming history. 🚜
