A Great Morning for Hartselle!

What a wonderful morning celebrating the progress, leadership, and bright future of Hartselle! The Hartselle Area Chamber of Commerce was proud to host our 2026 State of the City Address this morning at The Venue, bringing together business leaders, elected officials, city department leaders, and community partners for an informative look at the progress and future of our city.

We extend our sincere appreciation to Mayor Missy Evans for sharing her vision, highlighting the progress being made throughout Hartselle, and discussing the priorities and opportunities that will continue to shape our community for years to come. A special thank you to Madison Anders, Strategic Initiatives & External Affairs Manager, for serving as our moderator and leading an engaging panel discussion with our City of Hartselle department leaders.

👋 Meet Mayor Missy Evans, Mayor of the City of Hartselle!

Since taking office in November 2025, Mayor Evans has brought a strong commitment to collaboration, accountability, and thoughtful planning for Hartselle's future. With more than 25 years of experience in business, nonprofit leadership, and community development, Mayor Evans understands the importance of strong partnerships and the role they play in building a thriving community.

Many in our business community will also recognize her as the former President and CEO of the Hartselle Area Chamber of Commerce! With 23 years of dedicated service to the City of Hartselle, Jeremy has helped guide our community's growth and development for more than two decades!

After serving 21 years as City Planner, Jeremy stepped into his current role as Development Director, where he continues to help shape Hartselle's future, support responsible development, and contribute to the continued progress of our growing city. Outside of his work with the city, Jeremy enjoys spending time with his family at Logan Martin Lake and cheering on his favorite teams, Jacksonville State University and the University of Alabama!
