Our 2025 PFK Crushin’ Cancer Softball Tournament has come to a close. Even though Childhood Cancer Awareness Month is coming to an end soon,
many of us will continue fundraise, remember, honor those that we have lost, and
those that continue fighting cancer.
Yesterday we were able to raise funds for PFK and all of the programs that will continue into this year and the next.

We started out Saturday morning at
about 5am heading to Decatur and Athens
To host the 10U, 12U and 14U teams.

We had a great day at both parks,
remembering our Kayleigh
and telling her story to mainly those
that asked about her. We talked to other parents that shared their own
stories about losing children to cancer
and some that had beaten cancer. We also
had the opportunity to see some of
our St. Jude Nurses who hold a special
place in our hearts for what they did
for our Kayleigh, and repeatedly do for
countless children. It is their work
and dedication that makes St. Jude’s
affiliate centers and main facility in
Memphis feel loving and caring. We
appreciate all of your love and support, and
we look forward to seeing all of you again at next year’s tournament.

Our 2024 PFK Foundation: Kasting For Kayleigh Kayak Tournament wrapped up yesterday afternoon. We decided to mix up the format this year with a week-long tournament and cooler fishing in October. The weather was perfect, but the fish decided that they only wanted to chase live bait all day long. Congrats to Jesse Halverson for figuring that out early and clearly won 1st place by 15.25". Jesse decided to take home the Pit Boss Grills Grill package and promised to cook burgers for the group. Chris Martin came in 2nd place and took the prize for Big Bass with his 20.5" catch. Chris took home the Visa Card, Custom PFK Engraved Ketch Products Inc. Board Bundle, Digital Scale, and promised to buy the rest of us dinner. Luke Turner came in 3rd place and took home Hilti 12V Drill kit. Luke can now take care of your home improvement needs. Greg Massa came in 4th place and won the drawing for the Suspenz Storage and Transportation Kayak Cart. Thank you to all of those who came out and fished with us. Thank you to everyone that could not fish but donated to the tournament anyway.
