Sons of the American Legion, Squadron 294, Hartland WI

Sons of the American Legion, Squadron 294, Hartland WI Founded in 1932, Sons of the American Legion have their own membership; but the organization is not a separate entity.

Rather, SAL is a program of The American Legion. Many Legionnaires hold dual membership in SAL. SAL members are made up of all ages of males whose parents or grandparents have served in the U.S. military and were eligible for American Legion membership. Members of The American Legion, American Legion Auxiliary and Sons of The American Legion make up local Legion families, which has a combined memb

ership of nearly 4.2 million members through-out this great nation. Hartland’s local Legion Post #294, is home to these SAL members.

Big News!

The Milwaukee Homeless Veterans Initiative (MHVI) is officially becoming the Wisconsin Homeless Veterans Initiative (WHVI).

This new name reflects our growing impact as we continue supporting veterans and their families across Southeastern Wisconsin. While our name is changing, our mission remains the same, and our commitment is stronger than ever.

We are very grateful to our donors, partners, and community who made this growth possible!
