We hit it out of the park at our fall Scholastic Book Fair!
(See what I did there? 💙💛)

The final numbers are in and our hottest non-book seller were the dumplings.

Thank you to Missy and Marci for leading the charge and the long list of volunteers who make these events a success! The spring Scholastic Book Fair is scheduled April 12-16th - mark your calendars.

For Thanksgiving, help us say THANK YOU to our amazing Hartland-Lakeside teachers and staff! 🥧

HLEF will fill the school lounges with apple and pumpkin pies on the Friday before break. Purchase a pie to share with our staff and show your appreciation for all they do!

And, of course, grab one for yourself, too. Or several. We won’t judge!

💚 Help us Help our Teachers! 💚
Volunteers needed: Snack Cart Squad

HLEF is trying to treat the staff at North Shore Middle School with a snack cart this week during conferences, and we need YOU to help roll it! Walk the cart around the building so teachers and staff can grab a snack or a drink without leaving their classrooms. Everything is provided by donations and HLEF.

We need 1 volunteer for each slot:
⭐ Thursday, October 22 ~2:45pm
⭐ Friday, October 23 ~10:00am
**Students are welcome to come along and help!**

Interested? Email [email protected] and tell us which slot you’d like. Thank you for helping us show our staff some love!

More than just books! The Book Fair is a fun way to build a love of reading while supporting our schools. Proceeds help provide books and resources for classrooms, teachers, and students throughout the year, with HLEF helping turn those funds into meaningful support for our schools.
