This week, as we honor Teacher Appreciation Week, the HSD Education Foundation is proud to recognize the incredible work happening in our classrooms every day—and to invest in it in meaningful ways.

Thanks to the generous support of American Bank & Trust, we awarded 13 grants to educators across the district! These grants will bring creative ideas to life, enhance student learning experiences, and continue to push innovation forward in our schools.

From hands-on learning opportunities to new classroom resources, each grant reflects the passion, dedication, and vision of our teachers. There is no better time than Teacher Appreciation Week to celebrate the impact they make, not just in academics, but in shaping futures.

To our grant recipients and to all HSD educators, thank you for your unwavering commitment to our students and community.

The HSD Education Foundation received a donation from Showplace Cabinetry after being selected through the company’s Employee Directed Giving program. The Foundation is deeply grateful for this generous contribution, which will directly benefit the HSD Angel Fund. Thank you, Showplace Cabinetry!🐾

Thank you to everyone who joined us for today’s Foundation Friday! We are grateful for your time, your enthusiasm, and your continued support of our students and staff. 💙

Today’s focus on Achievement and Arts gave us the chance to highlight how students learn and lead through vocal music, explore PLTW pathways in health science, engineering, and cyber security, and tour spaces that showcase the power of movement and wellness. We also reviewed the Annual Report and wrapped up with a powerful panel featuring learners and staff from each area.

Your engagement helps move our mission forward, and we’re thankful to have you alongside us. Stay tuned for future Foundation Friday opportunities!

Guests also enjoyed a meal prepared by our talented culinary arts students.
