⚠ Park Notice - Pole Green Park ⚠

Please be aware that the Virginia Cross Country Showcase will take place at Pole Green Park this Saturday, October 17, from 7:00 AM-5:00 PM. Races will be held throughout the day and are expected to draw very large crowds with over 300 total teams participating.

We are working closely with event organizers and our public safety partners to ensure that parking and traffic management has minimal impacts on Pole Green Road and the surrounding community. Please be prepared for higher traffic volumes on Pole Green Road and allow extra time for travel in the immediate area.

Thanks to all who joined us at last weekend’s SpookyFUN Fest events! We set attendance records at both sites with more than 6,000 joining in the fun at Pole Green Park and over 2,500 at Poor Farm Park! It was so much fun seeing all the creative costumes, smiling faces, and memories being made. We truly appreciate the participation of so many wonderful community organizations who help make this event a huge success. Check out these awesome pictures from the event provided by Stephanie Lane Photography.

⚠️ Park Notice ⚠️

The playground at Pole Green Park will be closed for surfacing and equipment maintenance October 13-19. Please note that none of the playground equipment will be accessible during this closure because the work includes the application of a sealant to protect the rubberized surfacing. It is important for the curing process to be completed before the playground can be used. Please follow the instructions on all signage and never enter an active construction area. 🚧 🚧 🚧

Thank you for your patience as we work to ensure our play spaces are well-maintained and safe for all visitors.
