🐾 SUPPORT SERVICE DOGS THIS SEPTEMBER! 🐾

September is Service Dog Awareness Month, and our friends at Wing-Itz Hampton are helping support the incredible work of Service Dogs of New Hampshire! 🐕‍🦺❤️

All month long, Wing-Itz Hampton is offering a $9 bratwurst with grilled peppers & onions and a side of chips, with an amazing 50% of the proceeds going to Service Dogs NH!

The Hampton Area Rotary Club encourages our members, friends, and community to stop by Wing-Itz, enjoy a great meal, and support an organization that helps provide highly trained service dogs to people who need them.

Longest Table of Hampton sponsored by the Hampton Area Rotary on a cloudy Saturday. It was wonderful!

Connected with neighbors who are in town, at the beach or from neighboring towns.

Community is our old and new friends who joined us and introduced themselves to each other. All of our friends relaxed, had some lunch, shared side dishes and tasty desserts. The conversations were amazing as new friends got to know others and they all seemed comfortable and lingered at the table.

🍽️ ROTARIANS AT WORK! 💪⚙️

Hampton Area Rotary Club members were out this morning helping set up for Hampton’s Longest Table event happening TODAY!

Tables, chairs, grills and plenty of teamwork — our Rotarians are helping get everything ready to bring the community together around one very long table!

It’s great to see so many people working together to make this special Hampton tradition happen. A big thank you to all of our Rotarians who came out to lend a hand!

🌍 ROTARY IN ACTION: CRUTCHES 4 AFRICA

The Hampton Area Rotary Club was pleased to welcome Dennis Robillard of the S**o Bay Sunset Rotary Club as our guest speaker this week!

Dennis shared the inspiring story of Crutches 4 Africa, a program that collects used and surplus crutches, walkers, wheelchairs, canes and other mobility devices and sends them to people with physical challenges in developing countries — at no cost to the recipients. The program was founded by Dave Talbot, a Rotarian and polio survivor, after a 2005 trip to Uganda opened his eyes to the tremendous need for mobility equipment. Rather than seeing perfectly usable equipment end up forgotten in garages or sent to landfills, Dave saw an opportunity to give those devices a second life — and give someone else greater mobility, independence and dignity. Dennis has been a longtime leader of the Crutches 4 Africa effort here in Rotary District 7780, helping coordinate the collection and shipment of thousands of mobility devices. (Rotary Club of S**o Bay Sunset⁠)
