TASC Rides - Transportation Assistance for Seacoast Citizens Connecting Seacoast Communities with free, volunteer-driven rides, TASC Rides helps older and disabled individuals stay independent.

We provide essential transportation to medical appointments, shopping, + more. Volunteer, donate, or request a ride today! TASC is a fantastic volunteer opportunity for busy people who think they don't have enough time to volunteer! Volunteer drivers decide how often they are going to drive---once a week, once a month, once in a blue moon! All ride requests & scheduling are handled by the TASC office. Maybe you are not sure if you qualify.
Maybe you do not know what information to have ready.
Maybe there are more unknowns than knowns, and that makes transportation feel even harder to manage.

It might be an errand that fits neatly into the middle of someone’s day.
TASC Rides volunteer drivers choose requests based on their schedules, comfort level, timing, and distance.

“Your drivers have been amazing with mom. They’re always kind, treating her like an old friend.”
A family member sent us those words after hearing how grateful her mom was to the TASC Rides volunteers who provided her with scheduled rides.
October 11, 2026 is Spread Joy Day.
For us, that does not have to mean something big. Sometimes it is a calm ride, a familiar conversation, or a volunteer taking a little time before heading to the next part of the day.
We are grateful to the drivers who bring that kind of care to the road.

For a passenger in Rye, that may mean planning transportation to an exam, a follow-up visit, or another appointment related to vision care.
World Sight Day was earlier this week. It is a good reminder that access to care includes the appointment itself and the transportation needed to get there.
If you are requesting a ride, include the full address, appointment time, and how long the visit is expected to take.
