Thank you ladies for all that you do!!

Today, on International Day of Rural Women, we honor the women helping children, families, and rural communities thrive, including Indigenous women whose knowledge, care, and leadership strengthen generations.

For us, work begins with trusted relationships and support that honors each family’s culture and strengths.

We celebrate rural women as parents, caregivers, home visitors, and community leaders, and the partnerships that help them and their families thrive.

💔 Before You Judge, Consider the Need.

Someone opened a package of diapers at a store, took some, and left the rest behind.

It’s easy to look at this picture and see theft. But I want to challenge you to look a little deeper.

What if this was a parent who simply couldn’t afford diapers for their baby?

What if they only took enough to get through the next few days?

What if they were facing a choice between buying groceries, paying a bill, or keeping their baby clean and dry?

We don’t know the circumstances behind this picture. And no, stealing isn’t the answer.

But neither is ignoring the reality that families in our own communities are struggling to afford basic necessities.

As the founder of Bundles of Joy Baby Essentials, I see diaper need firsthand. I see families doing everything they can to provide for their children, and I know how much a simple package of diapers can mean.

This is why our mission matters.

We believe no baby should have to go without clean diapers because of financial hardship.

Before we judge someone’s actions, perhaps we should ask ourselves what more we can do to make sure families know help is available.

💙 Diaper need is real. Compassion matters. And every baby deserves to be clean, dry, and healthy.

Need help with diapers? Bundles of Joy Baby Essentials is here to support any parent or guardian struggling to afford diapers.

Send us a private message through our social media page or website with your name, contact information, baby’s diaper size, and general location. We’ll help you find upcoming diaper distributions and available resources in your community.

Please do not share personal information in public comments.

You can also call 211 or visit 211.org to find additional resources in your community.

If you’re in a position to help, consider donating diapers, making a financial contribution, volunteering, or sharing our mission.

Together, we can help ensure more babies have the clean diapers they need.

We are so honored to be selected to receive this book donation award from Charlie's Kids Foundation. This baby board book not only encourages early literacy, but most importantly guides readers on how to put their babies to sleep safely. Although October is designated as Sleep and SIDS Awareness Month, safe sleep is not just a monthly awareness campaign. It is a year round commitment to protecting our most precious little ones.

October is National Farm to School Month, and Farm to CACFP Week is coming up October 18–24, 2026! It’s a time to celebrate the connections happening all over the country between children and local food!

The South Carolina Farm to Early Care and Education (ECE) Program champions children’s health and learning by connecting early care programs with local farmers, fresh foods, and hands-on agriculture education.
