❤️ THINK YOU’RE TOO YOUNG TO WORRY ABOUT HEART DISEASE? THINK AGAIN!
Heart disease doesn’t have an age requirement.
According to the CDC, approximately 23.4% of adults ages 18–39 had high blood pressure during the August 2021–August 2023 survey period.
That’s nearly 1 in 4 young adults!
High blood pressure is a major risk factor for heart disease and stroke, and it can develop long before someone experiences noticeable symptoms.
The habits we develop today can influence our cardiovascular health for years to come.
❤️ Know your family medical history.
❤️ Check your blood pressure.
❤️ Stay physically active.
❤️ Make heart-conscious food choices.
❤️ Don’t skip preventive healthcare appointments.
Prevention isn’t something we should put off until later in life.
Your heart deserves attention at every age!
