The Hamden Club was recognized at the 62nd Northeast District Conference of the National Association of Negro Business and Professional Women’s Clubs, Inc.!

Our Club was proudly represented at the conference by three members, and we were honored to receive the following awards and recognitions:

These recognitions are a reflection of the dedication, service, and commitment of every member of the Hamden Club throughout the year. We are grateful to our Northeast District leadership for acknowledging our efforts and celebrating the work we are doing in our community.

Juneteenth is more than a date in history … it is a reminder that freedom delayed is freedom denied, and that progress requires both courage and action.

Today, we honor the resilience, innovation, and determination of those who continued to build communities, create opportunities, and pursue excellence despite barriers placed before them.

As members of the National Association of Negro Business and Professional Women’s Clubs, Inc., we recognize that the work of empowerment did not end in 1865. It continues through education, economic advancement, civic engagement, mentorship, entrepreneurship, and service.

May we celebrate the achievements of those who came before us while recommitting ourselves to creating opportunities for those who will come after us.
