September is Hunger Action Month.

This September 18th, Transition Professionals is hosting a Food Drive to help support individuals and families in our community. Every donation, big or small, can help make a difference.

We’re collecting easy-to-prepare meals, individually packaged snacks, shelf-stable foods, and drinks.

Thank you to BC The Mag for highlighting the work of Transition Professionals and our mission to support justice-involved individuals as they rebuild their lives after incarceration. The article shares how our team helps remove barriers to housing, employment, benefits, behavioral health services, and community reintegration while providing hope, dignity, and opportunity.

A few weeks ago, we had the opportunity to visit Our Stable Life, a 501(c)(3) organization offering equine-assisted therapeutic programming for individuals and groups.

Their work is rooted in a trauma-informed, holistic, and people-centered approach, supporting emotional wellness and healing through structured, non-riding interactions with horses and guided support from trained professionals.

Their programs focus on prevention, education, and recovery, and are designed to support individuals navigating challenges such as trauma, anxiety, substance use recovery, grief, and isolation.

We are sharing these moments in recognition of community-based spaces that support healing, dignity, and whole-person care.
