The American Legion Post 55, Captain Harry B. Doremus, cordially invites the community to attend our annual Veterans Day Program in honor of the men and women who have served in the Armed Forces of the United States.

📍 “The Green,” in front of the Bergen County Courthouse, Hackensack, NJ

The ceremony will include remarks from a guest speaker and a presentation of wreaths at the Circle of Honor, recognizing the dedication and sacrifice of our veterans.

Community organizations, veterans’ groups, and residents are encouraged to attend as we come together to pay tribute to those who have defended our freedoms.

In honor of Veterans Day, Bergen County Veterans & Active Duty Military are welcome to come golf for FREE at any of our Bergen County golf courses from Monday, November 10, to Friday, November 14.

To guarantee a tee time, please call the County's Division of Golf at 201-336-7259 from October 27 - October 31, during regular business hours (8am–3pm). Or make a regular tee time reservation by visiting GolfBergenCounty.com. (Reservation ability may be limited after the early access period. Offer only applies to green fees)

Veterans and active-duty service members must be residents of Bergen County. Tee times can be reserved for up to four golfers, but accompanying golfers who are not active-duty or a veteran must pay full price. Active-duty service member and veteran status will be confirmed over the phone upon making the reservation.
