It’s National Fishing Day! 🎣 We’re celebrating with some of our greatest catches and all the friends we made along the way. What a treat to have the beautiful Rose Lake at our campsite, stocked full of fish and always ready for some camper catches. 🐠🌊

Wild West Party Week 🤠🌵 Howdy, partners! We had a rootin’ tootin’ celebration for our first Summer Camp of the season! With a little help from our cow-poking campers, we spent the week wearing the coolest cowboy hats, riding horses, and finding lost treasure. The week was so wild and so west, we even created and bowled with our very own tumbleweeds! 🎳

This session, we also started our first clubs program! Campers joined groups for photography, murals, microscopes, archery, sports, and much more! To top it all off, the High-Altitude Aviation Training Site (HAATS) paid us a visit in one of their military helicopters. Yeehaw! 🚁

Overall, it was a week full of hootin’ and hollerin’ and mighty fine fun! 🥰

Say hello to our awesome Advancement Assistants, Sophia and Syd! 🙌 Sophia joins our Development Team as this summer’s Events Admin Assistant. She will support tasks and projects for our upcoming signature events in August, including The Bullseye Roundup and A Grateful Harvest! Syd will work behind the camera as our new Marketing Assistant, assisting the Marketing Team with telling camp stories and capturing The Power of Camp. ⚡️

CELEBRATING 20 YEARS! 🎉 This past Sunday, we held a fun Community Day at camp as we opened our camp gates for a variety of camp programs, delicious food courtesy of Moe's Original BBQ Eagle and tours around our campsite. Community members were able to see some of the exciting new additions to our program areas, including our Low Ropes Course and second zipline. As we reflect on the last 20 years, we are so incredibly thankful for the support of our Roundup River Ranch community. 🫶
 
This Community Day reminded us of the inspiring dedication and generosity of numerous supporters, partners, sponsors, foundations, staff, board members, and volunteers who have helped make our camp community thrive over the past 20 years! ❤️

20 Years, 20 Stories 📖 Meet the Garofalos! Splitting their time between Denver and Vail, this family has been a big supporter of Roundup River Ranch over the past few years. Parents Terri and Jim decided to get involved after attending their first donor event, which left them completely moved by the work being done at camp. 🥰

The Garofalos have sponsored the last few No Hands Spaghetti Dinners in Avon and are also active members of the Raise A Little Hell Club. Last year, their daughters, Jessica and Lauren, were a huge help with Family Camp volunteering and with our Development Team. As a group, the Garofalos enjoy attending signature events, including A Taste of Camp, A Grateful Harvest, and The Bullseye Roundup. 💘

According to Terri, the family loves to learn more about camp and hear inspiring stories from campers. “I always leave with a renewed perspective on life,” Terri said. “We’ve loved meeting the wonderful people we’ve had the opportunity to get to know.” ❤️

It takes a lot of hands to make camp possible, and we are beyond grateful for the Garofalo family, and for every hand and role they’ve played at Roundup River Ranch! 😍🙌
