New Beginnings Rescue We are a tiny but mighty pet rescue in the Poweshiek Iowa area. We take in strays and surrenders . We vet them and then rehome them.

Our goal is to one day have enough funds to help the community get their pets vetted and help with pet emergency expenses!

Just in— very skinny but beautiful young , friendly kitty. The employees at the Alliant Energy building noticed her the other day and how hungry she was . They were feeding her what they had . 💖
Need donations for a vet appointment to get her checked out! We use Grinnell vet clinic and Farm and Family vet .

Just in—— these two were abandoned in kennels at the empowerment center. One is very thin , maybe very old ? The grey one is a young male . Both heavily covered in fleas and both soaked in cat urine . 😞 calling farm and family vet today to see when I can get them in for a check up . Donations for their bill would be so appreciated!

I don’t know what is in the air this week but chess just got returned today because she has fleas !?? We are not seeing any fleas on her and even so if she did just treat her . 🤷‍♀️ poor chess hates it here too! She likes a less chaotic scene 🎬
