🌟💛 MEET OUR GALA SPEAKER – TIEAL BISHOP! 💛🌟

We are excited to introduce Tieal Bishop, CEO & Executive Director at A Rosie Place for Children, as a featured speaker at our 4th Annual Rays of Light Gala!

✨ A passionate advocate. A visionary leader. A mother who understands the mission firsthand.

Tieal Bishop’s work with A Rosie Place for Children is deeply personal. After her son, Max, was born medically fragile, Tieal experienced firsthand the overwhelming challenges families face when a child requires complex medical care. That experience became the catalyst for a lifelong commitment to helping other families find the support they need. 💛

Tieal joined the O’Hana family as a parent representative on the Board of Directors and became its first paid employee in 2005. Under her leadership, an idea became reality: A Rosie Place grew into Indiana’s first and only specialty hospital dedicated exclusively to medically fragile children, providing a warm, home-like setting where children can receive expert care while their families receive much-needed respite.

Today, Tieal is known for her vision, tenacity, creativity, and fierce advocacy for children and families. Her guiding philosophy is simple but powerful: create a “World of YES” for children with complex medical needs. ✨

We are honored to welcome Dr. Lane Moser, Pediatric Palliative & Complex Care Physician, as a featured speaker at our 4th Annual Rays of Light Gala!

Dr. Moser has dedicated his career to caring for children with serious and complex medical conditions while supporting the families who love them. Currently serving as a Complex Care Physician at ChildServe, he brings a wealth of experience, compassion, and a deep understanding of the challenges these families face.

What makes Dr. Moser's work so special is his belief that caring for a child means caring for the entire family. His approach goes beyond medicine, focusing on helping children live life as fully and meaningfully as possible.

Thank you for your support, Children's Cancer Connection!

On , Children's Cancer Connection is proud to highlight the important mission of Mason's Light House. Soon to be Iowa’s only children’s hospice and respite care facility, Mason’s Light House will allow families to stay closer to home, surrounded by the people they love, instead of traveling long distances when every day together counts.

Today, we’re also honoring care that makes room for comfort, connection and joy, even in the hardest seasons. We're grateful for board members like Dr. Rhonda Idemmili, a palliative care physician with UnityPoint Health, who help make that kind of care possible.

Here's to bringing more support closer to home during the time that matters most.
