HOPE61, a ministry of One Mission Society (OMS), mobilizes the church around the world to prevent all forms of human trafficking with collaborative training that equips church leaders to use their talents, abilities, and resources to address the vulnerabilities that lead to trafficking. ffickers, and buyers. Human trafficking is the second-largest illegal business in the world, surpassed only by the illegal arms trade. HOPE61 believes the best long-term solution—and the only one that influences all people vulnerable to becoming traffickers and buyers as well as victims—is for churches to address specific vulnerabilities within their communities. At its core, HOPE61 is an evangelism and discipleship catalyst aimed directly at those who are vulnerable to becoming involved in human trafficking.

We are grateful for the opportunity to collaborate with and learn from leaders, practitioners, and organizations across the country who are committed to ending human trafficking.

Together, we can strengthen awareness, prevention, and community action to protect the vulnerable and bring hope to those at risk.

This World Day Against Trafficking in Persons, don't just learn about trafficking, take action. Every church has God-given gifts, resources, and relationships that can make a difference. Start by learning about the vulnerabilities in your community. Reach out to those who may be isolated, struggling financially, searching for work, or lacking support. Build relationships, offer practical help, and share the hope of Christ. Together, we can help ensure fewer people become vulnerable to traffickers' false promises and fewer lives become trapped behind the scam.
