We rescue the death row dogs, the abandoned, the critical, we rehabilitate behaviorally, physically & find loving families & forever homes💖 ARK Charities is a Faith based Animal Rescue and Welfare Organization focused on Saving Animals and Helping the People that Love and Need them. The four divisions ARK include REDEMPTION RESCUE, a non-breed specific dog rescue; SAINT SERVICE DOGS, Training rescue dogs to be certified service dog for Military Veterans and children with disabilities; FAITH FUND, providing a helping hand to via grants to individuals and other not for profit organizations trying to save their animals in dire need of life saving financial assistance; SPAY & NEUTER PROGRAM, educations, promoting and supporting spay and neuter initiatives and organizations focused on spay and neuter population control.

Grady Update:
Grady’s FHO surgery was yesterday at Dallas Veterinary Surgical Center with Dr. Laine and team . It went really well.
Thank you to all who donated to make it possible for his surgery with such a highly skilled, board certified, orthopedic surgeon for his best recovery!
We’re ready to bring on the healing for this sweet puppy.
Our amazing medical foster, Sam, was able to pick him up today. We’re sharing some photos.
The surgery should go a long way toward relieving pain for Grady’s hip and leg and will help him get back on four feet. It’s a bit of a healing process. Three weeks very strict crate rest and only brief standing for potty breaks. Followed by at least another 5-6 weeks of healing, stretching, and very brief, 1-2minute walks to strengthen.
At 3-4 weeks Grady needs X-rays to check healing prognosis on his surgery healing and his fractured ulna. The fracture is close to the growth plate which, if damaged, means the fractured bone won’t grow at the same rate as the other bone, the radius. We’re praying his leg heals perfectly and that his ulna fracture will heal seamlessly so the bone will continue to grow at the same pace as the radius arm bone.
We’ve shared his surgical estimate in the photos along with pics of Grady at DVSC, North Dallas location. The estimate above does not include any of the future Xray visits that Grady will need. They bill those at the time of care.
Thank you for the many prayers and for every single donation for Grady. 100% of every cent will be used for his medical care. Thank you to the wonderful team @ Dallas/DVSC for their compassionate and expert care. Thank you to his awesome foster momma who is giving him the chance to be in her loving home and arms while he heals.

Please welcome 14week old brothers, Walker, Dean and Jack! We rescued this adorable trio from an overcrowded, California shelter when their time was running out.

These little guys are coming East to CT November 14 and are available for adoption. They are playful, well mannered pups who are social and very friendly.

Please fill out an application if you’re interested in adding a cuddly and whip-smart, new family member.

All applications must be fully completed including a veterinary reference that shows pets in the home currently and historically are up to date both preventatives and wellness care.
Preference is given for GSD experience and fenced homes.

Please welcome Zorra to the ARK Charities family!

We saved her from Riverside, CA when she was out of time. Zorra is extremely friendly, easy going and had terrific meet and greet manners. She was a staff favorite and such a great girl that the shelter used her for dog tests to evaluate other dogs ….until she overstayed her allotted shelter time.

Thankfully this social sweetheart, who is 3-4yrs young, now has a full and happy life ahead of her. We are committed to giving her the loving home and family she is so deserving of!

UPDATE! Grady has FHO surgery scheduled for this Friday at 10:15. He will, also, have his ulna fracture evaluated and softly splinted.
The surgical estimate is $4500-$6500 was increased today for his surgery at Dallas Veterinary Surgical Center. They will gave us a typed up copy to share on Friday and it is posted here.
Until then, he is still receiving iv pain meds and care, he is stable , eating well and showing everyone he sees his happy tail.
Thank you for keeping him on your heart, in your prayers and we appreciate and need any donations for Grady—all will go directly towards paying for his surgery and post op care.
