Create something beautiful this summer!

Join local ceramics artist and educator Scott Thayer for a fun, hands-on two-week ceramics workshop designed for ages 16 and up. Learn the basics of hand-building with clay as you create your own one-of-a-kind vase or bowl, then return the following week to glaze your piece and bring it to life with color.

No experience needed—all materials are provided! By the end of the workshop, you'll take home a finished ceramic creation that's both functional and uniquely yours.

Congratulations to the winners of the High School Art Show! Meghan Faye, District Art Coordinator from Kettering City Schools, selected this year's winners. She praised the experimentation and sustained investigation she saw in the pieces represented. Looking at this body of art opened a window to the artists worlds, and the subjects they chose highlighted their visual voice.

Thanks to the generosity of the Darke County Foundation, $1000 in cash prizes were awarded to the students.
