What’s cooler than new playground equipment?

New playground equipment = new adventures! 🛝

Exciting news for our community! 🎉

A brand-new playground is coming to Lions Park! The current playground will be removed starting March 21, so the area will be blocked off beginning Friday, March 20 to prepare for the transition.

Installation of the new playground is expected to be completed by the end of May, and we can’t wait to see kids and families enjoying this much-needed improvement to the park.

We’re looking forward to seeing Lions Park refreshed with this great new space for our community.

Check out the latest concept plan, we are hoping surveys go out in the next couple of weeks.

To complete phase 1, there will be NO tax impact at this time. This is a huge opportunity for us to invest in our park.

Tonight Village of Greenville is reviewing the Park Corp plan and reviewing where improvements are needed and helps with scheduling for budgeting and setting goals for the park and trail systems.

If you are able to watch the video from tonight, you will get updates on where we are with the sports complex and the overall support level from our current village board.

Rettler has applied national park guidelines to compare to the parks we have here in Greenville. They have categorized our parks and provided very interesting data regarding how we do to the other communities.

Greenville Is moving forward with the next phase of our Parks Master Planning Project and Comprehensive Outdoor Recreation Plan (CORP)!

Thanks to your input at our public meetings, we’re now working with Rettler Corporation to design exciting new concepts for Greenville’s parks.
