GWCLC and the Pennsylvania AFL-CIO are proud to endorse our Congresswoman, Summer L. Lee, for reelection because she brings the fight for working people straight to Congress. A daughter of the Mon Valley, Congresswoman Lee has cosponsored the PRO Act to strengthen our right to organize and bargain collectively, and the Raise the Wage Act to increase the federal minimum wage. She has introduced legislation to provide hazard pay for healthcare workers and hold health insurers accountable when they deny working families a fair appeal. From standing on our picket lines to advancing our priorities at the Capitol, Summer puts working people first. She has our backs, and we’re proud to send her back to Washington to fight for us.

With election day THIS TUESDAY, we're highlighting our labor-backed candidates for Congress.

GWCLC and the Pennsylvania AFL-CIO are proud to endorse Alan Bradstock for Congress for Pennsylvania’s 14th District. A Donora native and Ringgold High School graduate, Alan earned his accounting degree from Washington & Jefferson College before serving eight years as an Army aviation officer, including deployment during Operation Desert Storm. He then spent 20 years as an FBI special agent, investigating public corruption and violent crime and serving in national security leadership roles. His experience also includes work as an auditor and financial adviser. Now living in Fayette County with his wife, Alan is running to strengthen workers’ rights, raise wages, invest in job training and infrastructure, and expand access to affordable healthcare.

Jordan Omlor of PA Legislative District 59 has been a staunch ally to Pennsylvania's working class and the Union way of life. With just 12.5 days until election day, we're sharing some more about the Pennsylvania AFL-CIO-endorsed candidates in our county so you can get to know them as you prepare to vote. Today's candidate is Rob Francis for PA 57!

Rob Francis is a proud champion for organized labor who believes every worker deserves safety, economic security, and to have their voice heard. Rob stands firmly with working families and individuals across Westmoreland County. While never having been a union member himself, he is a fierce advocate for organized labor, believing in the inherent dignity of work and that all workers
deserve absolute respect.

In Harrisburg, Rob will aggressively defend the right to collective bargaining, prevailing wages, and sponsor pro-labor legislation that supports single-income families, builds up the middle class, and blocks any attempts to make Pennsylvania a right-to-work state. Unions are the backbone of America; as State Representative, Rob will actively work to expand the rights and protections of
unions in Pennsylvania.

Dustyn Dorn understands the value of hard work, dependable leadership, and the opportunities that good-paying jobs create for families. Raised in the blue-collar town of Rochester, Pennsylvania, he grew up appreciating the dignity of work and the importance of neighbors looking out for one another.

These values have shaped both his career and his commitment to public service. For 15 years, Dustyn has built his career at the Bank of New York, earning increasing leadership responsibilities through dedication, accountability, and collaboration.

His respect for organized labor is personal. Union jobs helped his parents build a stable life and retire with dignity. His grandparents were union members. His sister serves as a union member and the IAM Local 1044 financial secretary. That legacy reinforces his belief that working men and women deserve fair wages, safe workplaces, and a voice on the job.
