Let us help get you back in the driver's seat at the Summit Legal Aid/Westmoreland Bar Foundation FREE Driver’s License Restoration Clinic that will be held at WBA Headquarters on Monday, October 26, from 10 am to 3 pm. Participating attorneys will help to navigate PA restoration requirements; offer understanding of the legal process; and assist with eligibility review. Butler County is seeking a Custody Conciliator/Family Court Solicitor as well as a Judicial Law Clerk.
PAY RATE: Pay Grade 11, $65,714.16-$91,999.83 salary range, annual increase based upon salary board action may apply.

A complete list of essential duties and responsibilities of this position are printed on the official job description. A copy of that job description may be obtained by contacting Candace Graff, District Court Administrator, in the office of the Butler County Court Administration.

Appointment to either position will be made by the President Judge following review and interview of applicants.

Both positions are full-time with a normal work week of Monday-Friday, 8:30am-4:30pm.

It was such a pleasure to welcome the Pennsylvania Bar Association STARR bus trip to Westmoreland County this morning! About 30 law school students from Thomas R. Kline School of Law of Duquesne University, University of Pittsburgh School of Law, and Widener University Commonwealth Law School enjoyed hand-crafted beverages from Travelin' Tom's coffee truck, boxed lunches from Sun Dawg Café, and a panel of Westmoreland County's young lawyers and judges who shared what it is like to practice in the county and what opportunities and resources await them here. The students who attended are also eligible to apply for a $5,000 scholarship from the Westmoreland Bar Foundation. Many thanks to all who participated!

Don't forget! All WBA members are invited to join us TODAY, Friday, October 9, for FREE beverages from Travelin' Tom's Coffee Truck in celebration of Pro Bono Month and as a welcome to law students on the PBA STARR bus tour.

Travelin' Tom's Coffee Truck will be parked in our courtyard from 10 am to Noon and will be crafting FREE hot, iced, frozen, and seasonal coffees, teas, and specialty beverages on demand for WBA members from 10 am to Noon.
