We are sad to report that WBA member Jack L. Bergstein has passed away after a short illness at the age of 86.
A graduate of Penn State University, Jack received his law degree from Duquesne University and practiced in Monessen for over 60 years. He served as President of the Westmoreland Bar Association in 1989-1990 and was instrumental in creating the Westmoreland Bar Foundation for which he served as Chair from 1994-1999. Jack continued to be an active and vital member of the WBA, serving on numerous committees, attending events, and participating in the Ned J. Nakles American Inn of Court and Westmoreland Academy of Trial Lawyers.
Friends will be received at the Rhome Funeral Home, 1209 Grand Boulevard, Monessen, from 10 am to Noon, on Wednesday, June 17, followed by a funeral service at Noon.
