We here at Q***r Westmoreland salute Councilman Ryan Delaney and wish that our local candidates would follow the councilperson's example

You can't normalize noncoforming people, adults or otherwise, until you talk about it in a positive light

we are prepared to pull our endorsement of local candidates until they take a more positive line with trans and nonbinary community

Plum Council President Ryan Delaney says he “refuses to be silenced” after recent online backlash to comments he made in support of the LGBTQ community at last week’s borough council meeting. Delaney’s statements, which he said were meant to “validate” LGBTQ resid...

This is why we at Q***r Westmoreland get so mad when local campaigns talk about the LGBTIAQ+ community, especially the T and nonbinary folk, "harming" their campaigns

You can't normalize something if you don't talk about it. You can't talk about it if you don't normalize it.

We are calling on ALL candidates, especially those in Westmoreland County to follow the lead of Rep. Jessica Benham. and Governor Shapiro and talk about their support for the LGBTIAQ+ community.

Full disclosure: our founder/president (if you ask the trib), ash franzetti, is a precinct committee person for the GBG 1-1. you better believe she will fight like hell using these resources to make greensburg and westmoreland county safe for the LGBTIAQ+

Representation matters. Leadership matters. And moments like these when the people making decisions about our lives show up and stand with us matter more than we can say.

Grateful to hear Rep. Jessica Benham and Governor Josh Shapiro speak at the Governors Pride reception, lending their voices to a community that deserves to be seen, celebrated, and protected. 🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️🤎🖤

These two and many other PA leaders give us hope. And hope, right now, is everything. 🙏

We would be remiss if we didn't give a personal thank you to Jordan Omlor for 59th District Representative

Jordan reached out to Q***r Westmoreland, not the other way around, when we said we needed volunteers for our deescalation team

Thankfully, everyone was so well behaved that Jordan got to mingle, got to maybe know some of his constituents better and had a good time

Jordan shows that leadership isn't just building a house to your hero, or trying to get big names to the county--it's mutual aid and mutual respect

So thanks, Jordan and we hope to see you at our next event!
