Dear Friends and Partners in Public Safety:

I am pleased to invite you to the 30th Annual Hempfield–Greensburg Fire Prevention Night on Tuesday, October 6, 2026, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. The event will be held in the former Sears Auto parking lot at Westmoreland Mall, adjacent to DICK’S Sporting Goods.

Fire Prevention Night gives children and adults an opportunity to meet the people who help keep our communities safe, see their equipment up close, and learn more about the services they provide. We have invited fire departments from Hempfield Township, the City of Greensburg, and throughout Westmoreland County, and we would be pleased to have your agency join us.

We hope the evening will bring together our Fire Departments and representatives from the Westmoreland County Department of Public Safety, Mutual Aid Ambulance Service, Greensburg Police Department, Pennsylvania State Police, Office of the State Fire Marshal, Westmoreland County Coroner’s Office, Westmoreland County Sheriff’s Office, Westmoreland County Park Police, area K-9 teams, the Greensburg Bloodhound Team, and the Greensburg Dive and Swift Water Rescue Team.

Please note we are requesting all those who are participating to arrive no later than 5:30pm for set up.

Your participation would help make this a memorable evening for the families we serve. We hope to see you there.
