🐾❤️ More Wagging Tails, More Puppy Love! ❤️🐾

Our Wagging Tails youth were back at the Maclean-Cameron Animal Adoption Center for their monthly meeting, and it was filled with puppy cuddles, wagging tails, and lots of love! 🐶💕

Our amazing youth volunteers spent time loving on and enriching the lives of some adorable puppies, giving them extra attention, affection, and socialization. There’s nothing quite like seeing happy pups and sneaking in a few puppy kisses along the way! 🐾❤️

A heartfelt thank-you to the wonderful staff at Maclean-Cameron Animal Adoption Center for always welcoming our Wagging Tails youth with open arms! ❤️ A special shout-out to Mataya and Bella for taking time out of their busy day to spend time with our group and help make this experience so meaningful. We are incredibly grateful for everyone's support and for the wonderful opportunities you provide our youth to learn, serve, and make a difference in the lives of animals in need! 🐾💗

We couldn’t be prouder of our Wagging Tails youth for showing such compassion, kindness, and love for animals. Watching them grow, build connections, and give back to our community is truly something special! 💕🐶

🐾💛 Wagging Tails Making a Difference in Our Community! 💛🐾

A huge shout-out to our Wagging Tails president, Hayden, for helping give the Maclean-Cameron Animal Adoption Center parking lot a fresh new look! 🅿️✨

Hayden and fellow volunteer Luke got behind the striping machines and did a fantastic job getting the parking lot looking bright, fresh, and beautiful! 🙌 Great job, Hayden and Luke!

A BIG thank-you to the Optimist Club for helping make this project happen! We’re so grateful everyone was able to get the job done before the snow hit! ❄️🐾

🐾❤️ A Wonderful Day of Giving Back! ❤️🐾

Some of our Wagging Tails youth had a wonderful afternoon volunteering at the Maclean-Cameron Animal Adoption Center! 🐶🐱

Our volunteers spent time loving on and enriching the lives of so many sweet animals, giving them extra attention, affection, and care. They also had the opportunity to observe the process of a cat being microchipped, making it a fun and educational experience! 🐾

A HUGE thank-you to the amazing staff at Maclean-Cameron Animal Adoption Center for welcoming our youth and sharing their time and knowledge with us. A very special thank-you to Catey-Eileen, Veterinary Technician and a valued leader in animal care, for taking time out of her busy day to teach and engage with our volunteers. We truly appreciate you! ❤️

We are so proud of our Wagging Tails youth for showing compassion, kindness, and a willingness to make a difference in the lives of animals in need.

🌟🐾 We’re incredibly proud to share some exciting news! 🐾🌟

Our very own Hayden Roland is featured in the new book Superhero Kids by Micaela Myers, illustrated by Leslie Lumeh! 📚✨

At just 11 years old, Hayden founded Wagging Tails, a youth volunteer group created to get young people involved in animal advocacy and making a difference in their community. Through Wagging Tails, kids and teens have the opportunity to learn, volunteer, speak up for animals, and discover that their voices can make a difference. 🐶❤️

Hayden’s work was previously featured in TIME for Kids, where his story caught the attention of author Micaela Myers. That feature led Micaela to reach out to Hayden and interview him for Superhero Kids. How incredible is that?! 💙

Now, Hayden’s story is being shared alongside 21 other incredible young people who have found their own ways to make a difference.

We love that Hayden’s story reminds us that age is no barrier to making an impact. Young people have ideas, compassion, energy, and voices that can make a real difference—and sometimes they just need the opportunity to use them. 🐾

And while Hayden started the journey, it’s the many young volunteers who have joined him along the way who make Wagging Tails what it is today. ❤️

🐾 Friday Evening Wagging Tails Meeting! 🐾

Our youth held a short meeting, got to meet sweet Sally, one of our four-legged friends, and enjoyed a tour of Maclean-Cameron Animal Adoption Center. What a wonderful group of youth! 💕🐶

We’re excited for the year ahead and all that’s in store for Wagging Tails! We can’t wait to see our new members continue to get involved and welcome back the familiar faces when they’re able to join us at the next meeting. We’re looking forward to watching this group grow together! 🐾✨

🐾❤️ Wagging Tails at the 21st Annual Fur Ball ❤️🐾

What a wonderful night for our Wagging Tails youth volunteers!

Dressed to impress and ready to serve, they arrived with smiles, enthusiasm, and a genuine desire to help make the 21st Annual Fur Ball a special evening in support of the Maclean-Cameron Animal Adoption Center and animal welfare. ✨

From setup and welcoming guests to selling Mystery Boxes, helping with the dessert auction, presenting the Youth Philanthropy Award, and spotting for the Paddle Raise, they were there every step of the way.

They jumped in wherever they were needed—picking up, lending a hand, and helping with needs both big and small throughout the evening.

They also joined in on the fun of the evening—bidding in the silent auction, purchasing Mystery Boxes, and raising their hands during the Paddle Raise to help make a difference for the animals. 🐶🐱❤️

Through it all, they had fun, encouraged one another, and represented Wagging Tails with so much heart.

That is what makes this group so special.

Wagging Tails, you should be so proud of yourselves. We certainly are.

Thank you for showing up, stepping up, giving back, and making another Fur Ball such a success! 🐾❤️

Celebrating these amazing young volunteers who came out to help get things ready for the 21st Annual Furball! We didn’t get a picture of one of our awesome volunteers while she was here, but she shared this photo with us so we could make sure she was included! ❤️

We’re so grateful for every young person who gave their time, energy, and heart to support our community and the animals who need us most. 🐶🐱💕

🐾💗 A HUGE shoutout to Abby! 💗🐾

We are so proud of one of our amazing young volunteers, Abby! 🥰

Abby, an 8th grader who absolutely LOVES animals, set a goal for herself this summer to raise $100 for the animals at Maclean-Cameron Animal Adoption Center. She put her creativity to work by making and selling beautiful beaded bracelets at the farmers market—and she reached her goal in just two Saturdays! 🎉

Today, Abby brought her $100 donation to MCAAC to help the animals she cares so much about. 🐶🐱❤️

We love seeing young people turn their passion into kindness and action. Abby, your big heart is making a difference, and we are so grateful for you! 🥹🐾

Thank you for loving the animals, supporting MCAAC, and being such a wonderful volunteer. Way to go, Abby! 💕🎉
