We also raise money to support our three local elementary schools each year through the Charity Golf and Tennis Tournaments and Online Silent Auction.

Celebrate Great Falls Foundation is a non-profit organization in Great Falls, VA, that sponsors local traditions and community events throughout the year, bringing our neighbors together to build and preserve the small town spirit and sense of community. With the support of our local business sponsors, Celebrate Great Falls Foundation hosts annual traditions such as the 4th of July Celebration and

🇺🇸 𝐏𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐞 𝐣𝐨𝐢𝐧 𝐮𝐬 𝐚𝐭 𝟏𝟏:𝟎𝟎 𝐚.𝐦. 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐧𝐮𝐚𝐥 𝐕𝐞𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐬 𝐃𝐚𝐲 𝐂𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐦𝐨𝐧𝐲. 🇺🇸

Please note today's ceremony has been moved inside to The Grange due to the cold weather. The Grange is located next door to the Great Falls public library and the Freedom Memorial Plaza. Parking will still be available in the library lot, and Scouts will be on hand to help direct participants to the Grange. Limited parking may be available in the "Old School" lot by the Grange. The ceremony will begin at 11:00am as originally scheduled. Thank you to the Great Falls Grange Foundation for making the space available and look forward to seeing you there.

The ceremony will honor all who have served our country in the Armed Forces. The historic tradition of holding Veterans Day ceremonies at “the eleventh hour of the eleventh day of the eleventh month” commemorates the armistice which took effect at that same time in 1918 to end World War I.

Our speaker will be Great Falls Freedom Memorial Board President Andy Wilson, who was interviewed by the American Veterans Center regarding his Army Ranger combat experiences during the Vietnam War. 🇺🇸
