The Peaceful Parenting Program is dedicated to advancing child development and promoting non-violent parenting methods within Muslim households. Through our specialized training and curriculum, we aim to empower parents with the knowledge and tools needed to foster healthy, nurturing environments for their children.

The Peaceful Families Project (PFP) is an initiative devoted to ending domestic violence through training, research, resource development, and strategic representation, with an expertise in US Muslim communities. We offer 5 programs virtually or in-person, focusing on the root causes of family based violence, prevention, and intervention.

Our mission is to provide community education and development, training and technical assistance, and research. Training may include general information about Domestic Violence, Islamic perspectives on Gender, Marriage, Divorce and Violence, Positive Marital Functioning, Courtship Coercion, or address a specific incident in a community. Peaceful Families Project is dedicated to eliminating family-based violence with expertise in the diverse US-based Muslim community. Peaceful Families Project offers 5 programs and engages nationally in the activities of Training, Research, Resource Development, and Strategic Representation with programming across the lifespan to achieve its goals.

Peaceful Families Project defines family-based violence as a form of oppression. Peaceful Families Project believes that the system of oppression related to family-based violence equally harms both men and women across the United States and globally.
