The Spring Valley Walleye Club is asking for volunteers this coming Saturday May 9th for the Kids Fishing Expo at Bakers Lake in Peru.
The event runs from 9-2 and has everything a kid needs to learn all about fishing and the great outdoors.
These events can not happen without volunteers to help run the event!
You do not need to be present all day, if you can only donate an hour, that is great, every little bit helps!
You can just show up any time during the day and contact the event coordinator Alisha.
Alisha is the Vice President of the local BFA, her number is (815)585-6418.

The Spring Valley Walleye Club is raffling off a new Lund 1600 Fury Tiler with a 25hp mercury EFI 4 stroke and trailer to raise money for this years scholarships. If you want a ticket please contact any walleye club member.

The Ice Breaker is in the books!
Congrats to the team of Dave Gossar, Kevin McQuilken and Kevin Cummings for winning and congrats to Adam Sandor, Grady Sandor and Chad Knottec on taking second place!
We want to send a huge thank you to Starved Rock River and Trail for hosting the event.
This will be an annual event from now on, hopefully we can build this into something big.
The poker run style event went over very well, so stand by to see more tournaments like this in the future!
