Oregon Cultural Trust is scheduling Conversations with Funders events from March 26 - April 10, 2026. Grantmakers will be offering over $5 million in funding for 2027.

We will be attending the virtual event on March 26th, the Eugene event on March 31st, and the Newport event on April 7th.

We are accepting Hatfield application now through May 1, 2026!

Each year, the SMCF selection committee will choose a Native American who is at least 21 years of age, to serve as the Hatfield Fellow. Preference will be given to qualified enrolled members of the nine federally recognized Oregon tribes.

On Wednesday, December 12th, we had our 2025 4th Quarterly Check Presentation. We gave out 20 grants to nonprofits and 8 grants to Oregon Tribes, totaling $1,447, 909 in giving for the quarter. Since our inception in 1997, we have given out 3,482 grants for a total of $103,228,571!
