Senate Democrats are risking our safety — and for what?

A political stunt that shuts down DHS and sidelines the very agencies Americans rely on every single day.
While this shutdown does nothing to change ICE policy, it cripples FEMA, TSA, the Coast Guard, and other critical security operations that keep our communities protected.

AFP has been crystal clear:
➡️ Public safety is non‑negotiable.
➡️ Shutdowns are reckless and irresponsible.
➡️ Americans should never be used as leverage in partisan fights.

Meanwhile, Congress keeps pointing fingers while airports back up, emergency responders are stretched thin, and DHS workers are left without certainty. The longer this drags on, the more Americans pay the price.

Enough is enough.
