Schools have been an important part of dairy checkoff work for more than 100 years, and that work continues to drive demand today. So far in 2026, Dairy MAX’s school programs have driven more than 8 million incremental milk pounds!

Through programs like Smart Swaps, expanded access to whole and 2% milk, and Fueled by Farmers, we’re working alongside school nutrition professionals to make dairy a lasting part of meals students enjoy.

Dairy is going viral!

MilkMade, our new Instagram series, follows Harlem Globetrotter Cherelle George as she takes on the role of a mysterious baller inspired by the old-school milkman look. She pulls up to local basketball games, challenges unsuspecting players and and refuels with them over milk or protein shakes.

Episode one had 699,000 views in its first 24 hours, surpassing the benchmark for viral content on Instagram.

Since launching Sept. 4, MilkMade has reached more than 4.4 million organic views, 512,000 engagements and 16,000 followers. Its engagement rate is also nearly nine times the industry average!

MilkMade is a strong example of how we’re connecting with younger consumers through entertainment whilemaking dairy and fueling part of the story.

Gaming. Influencers. E-commerce. They weren’t the first places Dairy MAX Board Chair and New Mexico dairy farmer Mike Marley expected dairy checkoff to show up. But the more he learned about where today’s consumers spend their time, how they shop and what drives results, the more his perspective changed.
