We’re so excited to partner with Texas Woman’s University on workshops that bring the power of dairy and nutrition education into the kitchen!

The ovens in the Neva Hudiburgh Cochran Wellness Kitchen are heating up, thanks to our exciting new three-year partnership with Dairy MAX. This collaboration is designed to elevate evidence-based nutrition education within our dietetics degree track while reinforcing dairy’s functional role in health, sustainability, and food-as-medicine frameworks.

Located in our brand-new Health Sciences Center on the Denton campus, these student-led workshops align perfectly with TWU's "teach, train, and treat" philosophy. Ten of our talented dietetic students are leading the charge, teaching peers from other healthcare disciplines—such as nursing, occupational therapy, and speech-language pathology—how to easily incorporate functional foods into a healthy lifestyle.

A special congratulations to incoming senior nutrition student Braelyn Bowles for successfully moderating our very first workshop, guiding participants through hands-on recipes like cottage-cheese based ranch dressing, homemade hummus, and crackers while sharing essential dairy and nutrition science facts.

This Cow Appreciation Day, we’re celebrating the cows at the heart of dairy farms and the farmers who care for them.

That care shows up in the quiet checks, close attention and everyday decisions that help keep cows healthy and comfortable.

Hartley Cross Country is now Fueled by Farmers! We're proud to help get more chocolate milk for student-athletes in dairy farming communities, so they have the sports drink nature intended for their recovery.

We’re excited to bring something new to our athletics program this year thanks to the Fueled by Farmers program!

A huge thank you to our local dairy farm families and Dairy MAX for providing our school with a refrigerator and chocolate milk to help support recovery after practices, workouts and competitions.

Our student-athletes put in a lot of hard work throughout the year, and having chocolate milk available gives them a simple and convenient way to refuel. With protein, carbohydrates and hydration, it’s a great option to help support recovery and prepare for the next workout or game.

We are incredibly grateful for this opportunity and for the support being shown to our student-athletes. This resource will be utilized throughout the school year by our cross country, basketball, track and tennis programs, helping athletes recover, refuel and continue working toward their goals.

We appreciate our local dairy community for helping make this possible for our students
