October is breast cancer awareness month and Hilltops Health Access is at the Your Best Fit event tonight at the Clifton Community Center. All the health plans on the Connect for Health Colorado marketplace offer preventative services at no cost, like mammograms. Open Enrollment for 2027 is just around the corner and, to prepare for November 1st, we are having our annual staff training this week. That means our staff will be unavailable this Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday (10/6 - 10/8) so no appointments or walk-ins will be able to be seen. September is National Recovery Month and for people who are struggling with dependency it is a time to remember there is help and there is hope. If you have health coverage it should include some sort of counseling services and also behavior health and addiction services. Contact your insurance provider to get more details.
