The Greater Grand Isle Historical Society Annual Meeting is Sunday, November 8 at the Grand Isle Community Center.

Verna’s famous Chicken Stew & Ployes will be served from 11:00 to 12:15.

Ken Theriault, Jr. will then share remarks on the early founding of Grand Isle, followed by a brief annual meeting.

After receiving this photo from Marie (Michaud) Perry, I was sure I had seen it before, and I had... It is from her personal family collection. Her Grandfather, and great Grandfather and a couple Uncles are seen in it! How cool is that. I also found out Alice Gendreau's grandfather and her Uncle are also in the photo!!
