What’s cracking at GCPS this week?! 🐣🍀

Our Embryology eggs are hatching all across the county, and students are getting to experience the magic of life science in real time! So far, our chick totals are:

🐥 GMS 7th Grade — 5 chicks
🐥 GES 2nd Grade — 1 chick (and counting!)
🐥 BES 3rd Grade — Eggs expected to start hatching tomorrow!
🐥 Mt. Gilead Pre-K — 5 chicks

The official hatching window runs from now through Wednesday, so stay tuned… there may be even more fluffy arrivals on the way! 🐤

Calling all youth livestock exhibitors near Washington, D.C! 🐏🐮🐷🐐

History is happening on the National Mall this summer, and we want you to be part of it. Join us as a Youth Agricultural Ambassador during the 250th anniversary celebration of our nation at this year’s Great American State Fair. You’ll represent the next generation of agriculture by showcasing your animals and engaging directly with thousands of fairgoers from 10:00 AM–11:30 AM each day.

When: June 25 – July 10
Where: Washington, D.C. on the National Mall
