Today's senior spotlight is E'Kylon Hunt! πŸ€

After graduation, E'Kylon plans to attend Tuskegee University and major in pre-med biology. His goal is to continue on to medical school and pursue a career as an anesthesiologist. He wants to use his education to help others and make a positive impact in the medical field.

His favorite 4-H memory was participating in activities and events that allowed him to meet new people, learn new skills, and build confidence. He enjoyed working together with others while representing his community and making lasting memories along the way.

When asked how 4-H has impacted him, E'Kylon said "4-H has helped me grow as a leader, become more responsible, and improve my communication skills. It taught me the importance of teamwork, dedication, and giving back to my community. Through 4-H, I gained experiences that prepared me for both college and life beyond high school.":

His advice for younger 4-H members is to stay involved, try new things, and never be afraid to step outside of your comfort zone. Take advantage of every opportunity because the experiences and lessons you gain will help you grow into a better leader and person.

Please join us in congratulating E'Kylon and wishing him the best of luck in his future endeavors!

Today's Senior Spotlight is Allilynn Matthews-Lyons! πŸ€

After graduation Allilynn will be starting college at Auburn University to get a bachelor's degree in Organismal Biology.

Her favorite 4-H memory is going to a learn how to barbecue class with her dad.

When asked how 4-H has impacted her, she said "4-H has impacted me in allowing me to get different experiences that I would have otherwise never had access to and getting me outside my comfort zone to help me grow."

Allilynn's advice to a younger 4-H member is that if there is an event that you are really interested in going but don't know anyone else, you should definitely go anyway. There are going to be plenty of nice people going that you can make new friends with and help you enjoy the event because they are there for the same reason!

Please join us in congratulating Allilynn and wishing her the best of luck in her future endeavors! πŸ€

Today's senior spotlight is William Dahlgreen! πŸ€πŸŽ―

After graduation, William plans to spend the summer participating in Camp CRISP and AgriSTEM with the LSU AgCenter.

His favorite 4-H memory is laughing and goofing off with his friends after (and sometimes during) shooting sports practices.

When asked how 4-H has impacted him, he said "4-H has taught me the value of teamwork and time management. 4-H has made me a better, more well-rounded person."

Williams advice to younger 4-H members is to embrace the personal growth 4-H offers and to dive into new experiences.

Please join us in congratulating William and wishing him the best of luck in his future endeavors!
