The South County Youth Summit is now registering students from grades 8 to 12th to participate for the next SCYS hosted here in the Gonzales Community Center, it will be in May 2nd from 9am to 2pm! The Gonzales Youth Council’s Community garden day is tomorrow from 11AM to 2PM!!! There will be a free food drive, agricultural activities, and a brand new showcasing for our food pantry! Habrá una distribución gratuita de alimentos, actividades agrícolas y una presentación totalmente nueva de nuestra despensa de alimentos. ¡Asegúrense de asistir al Día del Huerto Comunitario del GYC! In just 2 weeks, the Gonzales Youth Council will host a community garden event which will reveal the new food pantry, speech from the GYC, Artists Recognition, organizations tabling, a food drive, and a lot more activities! The community garden is next to the pool and in front of the high school Make sure to join and let your friends know this great event! 😄😄

Live Well, Salinas Valley Health, Save the Whales, Salinas Valley Recycles, and RCDMC will be participating to offer resources. We will also reveal our new food pantry and offer activities.
