This is a great opportunity to come together, discuss neighborhood matters, share ideas, and help us plan for the future of Bayou View Estates.

Good Afternoon, Residents,

This is a friendly reminder that school begins tomorrow, and we ask everyone to help keep our community safe as students return to their daily routines.

Please remember that parking is prohibited in the school bus turnaround area. This space must remain clear to allow buses to safely enter, load, unload, and exit without obstruction.

Additionally, please be alert for children walking to and waiting at their bus stops during the morning and afternoon hours. Their safety depends on all of us remaining attentive while driving through the neighborhood.

We also want to remind everyone to adhere to the posted speed limit. Several vehicles have recently been observed traveling above the posted speed limit. Excessive speed creates unnecessary risks for children, pedestrians, cyclists, and other residents.

We appreciate your cooperation and ask that everyone be mindful of others in our community. By following these simple safety measures, we can help ensure a safe and successful start to the school year for all.

As many of you have noticed, the condition of our neighborhood roads continues to deteriorate. While the HOA can advocate on behalf of the community, it is much more effective when multiple residents report these concerns through the appropriate work order process.

I encourage each homeowner to take a few minutes to submit a work order or report regarding the condition of our streets. The more reports that are received, the greater the awareness and documentation of the issues, which can help prioritize repairs.

Our roads affect the safety, appearance, and value of our neighborhood. By working together and taking this small step, we can demonstrate that this is a community-wide concern rather than an isolated complaint.

A special shout out goes to our Social Event Coordinator, Shaquanda Fernandez for her tireless efforts in putting together Bayou View Estates 1st annual End of Summer Bash. We appreciate everyone who came out and participated and engaged in neighborly fellowship. A time was had!! From Uno, to sack races, to swimming and a pie-eating contest. The kids definitely enjoyed themselves and us adults enjoyed watching them be happy. Special thanks to our president, Chris Whittington for his generous donation of backpacks. We appreciate every helping hand that made this event successful and we look forward to continuing more community events. Coca-Cola, Raising Cane’s, Eddie’s Cuts and Crowned by L. Jack we appreciate your partnership. The recipients of the free haircut/ free hairstyle are:
