🐐 Honestly can’t think of a cuter face to shop next to at our Lazy J Rescue Ranch Garage Sale Fundraiser than this guy. 😂🤷‍♀️ Miles says the rain may have slowed us down, but it did NOT stop us! 🌧️💪 We got most of the donated goodies set up, and as always, more will be coming out every single day of the sale because y'all are AMAZING and, well… getting everything out at once is a little ambitious, especially when Mother Nature decides to join the party. 🤦‍♀️😂

We’ll post some pictures soon, but honestly… DON’T WAIT FOR THE PICS. You need to come see it all for yourself! And the bonus? You get to shop alongside Miles and all his rescued ranch buddies. 🐐🐷🐮🐔🦆🫶

AND 100% of the proceeds go straight back to the animals!

🌧️ Pepper here with another Lazy J Rescue Ranch Garage Sale Fundraiser update! 🐐😅 She says it’s time to take shelter & hide from the rain, which means garage sale setup is temporarily delayed!

The good news? It looks like things should dry up soon, so we’re hoping to get back to setting up so we can OPEN ON TIME TOMORROW! 🤞

🌳🐐 Pepper has always been a little bit of a daredevil. She came to us with a broken leg that was never given a chance to heal right. We originally considered amputation, but with a custom Bionic Pets brace, that leg was finally able to heal & fuse. So naturally… she celebrates almost daily by climbing a tree. 😂

Sometimes a second chance means getting to do the ridiculous things you were meant to do. 🤷‍♀️ And speaking of second chances… it’s GARAGE SALE WEEK! 🛍️

Come to our Lazy J Rescue Ranch Garage Sale Fundraiser to find some treasures, support the ranch, and help us keep giving animals like Pepper their second chances.

Have stuff to donate still? We’re drop-off only now through Wednesday evening, and arrangements MUST be made with us before bringing anything out.

Come shop Thursday, Friday, & Saturday. Pepper wants to see more friends make comebacks like hers. ❤️

Yesterday may have been National Dog Day, but we think celebrating a day late is perfectly acceptable… especially when we actually celebrated a little early! 🐾❤️

On Sunday, we took Yeti with us to Dog Daze of Summer 2026!!, and she had an absolute BLAST. Because, of course, there is no such thing as too many people when you're Yeti. 😂

Vinny held down the ranch while Yeti worked the crowd, made approximately 4,827 new friends, collected attention from anyone willing to give it, participated in the snack race (and proudly took home a medal 🥇😂), enjoyed all the treats, and reminded everyone exactly what makes her so special. 🥰

Yeti is an absolute inspiration. She is happy 100% of the time. She makes friends with literally anyone. She never gives up. And she doesn't let the things she's been through, or the way her body works, stop her from enjoying life.

And honestly, that's the message we hope she leaves with everyone who meets her:
A disability shouldn't stop anyone from living a happy, fulfilled life. ❤️

Whether you're a human, a dog, a goat, a cow, or anything in between… sometimes you just have to figure out a different way to do things and keep going. Yeti certainly does. 🐾

A HUGE thank you to the organizers, all the vendors, and to everyone who came out to Dog Daze of Summer and supported the local organizations benefiting from the event. Even though our focus is more on farm animals, we are so grateful to be included because ALL animals matter. ❤️

Happy (belated) National Dog Day from our little wheelchair-rolling, friendship-making, snack-racing, medal-winning, never-give-up girl. 🐶🥇

Keep being you, Yeti. The world could use a whole lot more of it. 🥹🧡

🧡🩺 Loretta had a few of her friends join her for chiropractic adjustments this month... and she got her hooves trimmed while she was at it! 🐮🦶

🐕 Yeti? All about pics, attention, and trying to be the star of the show. 📸✨

🐐 Thumbelina? Well… she decided she'd rather be a little shy about the whole being photographed thing. 🙈😂

But... everyone left feeling a little looser, a little better, and ready to get back to ranch life! 💚

We're incredibly lucky to have this expertise locally to help us keep our crew with mobility challenges feeling their best!

Dog Daze of Summer 2026!! (event 🔗 in comments) is happening THIS SUNDAY, August 23rd from 12–4 PM at the BetterWay Complex in Fort Dodge, and it’s going to be a whole lot of fun! 🐶🎉

There will be tons of fun for the pups, awesome animal-related vendors, activities, treats, shopping, and so much more! Even better? All proceeds benefit the local rescues listed on the flyer, including US! ❤️🐾
