Nebraska Country Music Foundation 45 years strong! The Nebraska Country Music Foundation was founded in 1980 by Barb and Mario (Doc) Dantes. The talent that young folks display is amazing.

It has grown in membership and support to several hundred in the past years. Our home for the annual festival in October for the past several years has been at the Adams County Fairgrounds, Hastings, NE. Every year the Foundation has welcomed members and visitors from all over the United States and England. We have a strong relationshop with our members and supporters. Membership to the Nebraska C

ountry Music Foundation is encouraged but not required. Fans of Country Music are always welcome to attend our fundraisers and events throughout the year and our annual festival is always held the second full week in October. The Nebraska Country Music Foundation is a non profit foundation, and it is our goal every year to provide Country & Gospel music lovers a festival second to none. Our performers in the competition range in age from 5 years old to 95 years young. We have watched several youth and teen grow up with the Nebraska Country Music Foundation.

It is with great humility to the NE Country Music Foundation 2025 Board of Directors Larcy, Elizabeth, Deb, Deb, Luke, and Heath for nominating & inducting me into the NCMF Hall of Fame this year. It has been a true honor to meet & work with so many talented members, friends, & family of this amazing Foundation. I have been asked many times why we dedicate so much time, money, and tears to the NCMF year after year. The only answer is that we believe in the NCMF. It is a very proud family that will continue to grow & promote Country Music for years to come. It is my greatest success in life to be Blessed and raise my 2 children Larcy & Mick, and my greatest honor to serve as President of the Nebraska Country Music Foundation Nov 2006 - Nov 2025, and be inducted into the Hall of Fame.
