More endorsements! We’re proud to support Hollace “Holly” Lyon for State Rep and Edgar Soto for State Senator in District 17!
Holly is a retired U.S. Air Force colonel, former middle-school teacher and technology consultant. She served as a judicial nominating commissioner and worked on local school-district funding campaigns. Holly is a pragmatic leader focused on ending the practice of public servants profiting off of their positions, securing Arizona’s water future and making data centers pay their own way, and bringing down costs of housing, groceries, and prescription drug prices.
Edgar is a U.S. Marine Corps veteran and lifelong educator. He’s worked in K-12 schools and in higher education – he currently serves as the Vice President of Pima Community College’s Nogales campus. In the legislature, Edgar will work to expand early childhood education opportunities, work to lower everyday costs, and streamline permitting for small businesses in Tucson while balancing growth with environmental protection.
