⏱️ We are just under 48 hours until our 1st FRUIT POP FRIDAY of the new school year! This Friday 8/21 marks the return of Ice Pops for our Chargers at recess 🎉

📋 We have our list of prepaid memberships ready to go by grade level, but wanted to put out one more reminder for any last minute Students that want to get in on the deal! $22 will cover 31 Fridays on the school calendar. That’s a $9 savings 😍 You can also send $1 each Friday, but being on the list avoids having to remember or keep track of things on the playground!

💰Funds raised go right back to our wonderful school 🏫! The PTO runs monthly staff appreciation events or gifts, birthday books for students, snacks at PTO meetings and other reoccurring costs that fundraisers like this support .

🔄We switched to Dye Free this year to comply with state regulations and to make sure we are bringing the BEST to our students. Most Fridays we will have 2 ounce Otterpop brand popsicles available, but will substitute with a comparable offering if needed.

🗓️ Chargers, be sure to mark your calendars for our upcoming fundraiser next Tuesday 8/25! That’s exactly a week away and we are excited for this winning combo 🎉

🏡 We are happy for local businesses not too far from Copperwood Elementary elementary 🏫 willing to partner with us and fundraise!

🍽️ Whether you are just interested in Dinner 🍕 or an appetizer at Barro's Pizza or want a quick cool off treat 🍦at Yogurtini Glendale there are options for everyone in your crew! If you are interested in going to both, they are conveniently in the same shopping complex at the NE corner of 59th Ave & Thunderbird !

⚽️ Reminder that 10% of funds raised with restaurants continues to go towards our long-term goal for SOCCER GOALS that PTO members voted on last school year 🗳️

📣Join us today 8/10 afterschool! All are welcome 💙

🗓️ As we kickoff the second week of school, we wanted to remind you all that the first PTO Meeting is today. Please join us afterschool in the Library. This will be the first meeting for the 2026-2027 school year! PTO members will be voting on approving bylaws, but you don’t have to be a member to attend. Membership link in stories/ bio if you’d like to support and have voting privileges this year!

🍪Kids are welcome and we will make snacks and coloring sheets available 🖍️

📋Come hear what we’ve been up to, how the funds are being utilized and what is coming up at our Copperwood Elementary school! We also have a special guest speaker from the community attending and don’t want you to miss out 📣💙

📣 There will be time for all to speak and bring forward questions. You may also email us at [email protected] if you’d like anything added to the agenda !

⏰Set your alarms Chargers because tomorrow is the first day of school! As we are checking our supply lists, planning our outfits, and doing laundry 🧺 😅, we wanted to share some highlights from PTO Thursday night!

🍧 Looking for a COOL way to celebrate this Thursday while also supporting your Copperwood PTO? TROPICAL SNO 🍧 is the place to be with your crew after “Meet the Teacher” night. 15% of sales after 5pm will come back to our non-profit serving the Copperwood Elementary Community!

🚙 TropicalSno is local to our community, delicious, right up the street and the perfect treat when it’s so hot outside! You can enjoy your treat inside, take it to go AND they even have a drive-thru setup if that works best for you and the crew 😎

👩🏻‍🏫👨‍🏫🧑🏽‍🏫 Okay STAFF, this one is just for you! Whether you are brand new to Copperwood Elementary elementary or back for another wonderful year, we are excited to welcome you Wednesday morning!

☕️ We will be serving up fresh coffee, breakfast AND fresh ideas this new school year. Bring your appetite and suggestions on how you’d love to be supported by our PTO for 2026-2027 ⚡️

👕Please refer to your staff email for information on Pre-purchasing shirts, but rest assured, $15 cash Wednesday morning works as well. Remember, purchasing your staff shirt includes your PTO membership for the year in case requests come up that PTO can assist with. We are excited to see our community decked out in their Charger spirit wear and it is a great way to show your ⚡️
