🍯Honey alert🐝
CamelBackyard has had the help of hives for some years now but recently acquired equipment to manage and maintain our bees! We are eager to learn more and teach others along the way!
We are so thankful for our bees, our volunteers and farmers on hand to help harvest some honey today. We are using food grade buckets and cheese cloth to capture our first batch of honey. 🍯🐝❤️

After a long hot summer the New Roots monthly farm stand is back in October! Join us next Saturday October 18th and get fresh locally grown produce from 9 am - 12 pm. We are also accepting volunteers to help with projects around the farm. Come enjoy the cooler weather with us!

We celebrated a milestone this year at CamelBackyard, turning 10 years old. We can’t believe it either! 🫶🎉

We want to thank all of our farmers, volunteers, customers, and neighbors for all your support. We can’t do what we do without you!

Third Saturday Farm Stand happening October 18th, 9am-12pm. Buy local farm fresh produce with EBT, SFMNP, FMNP coupons, cash or card.

Farmer field trip to neighbor farm in south Phoenix, Spaces of Opportunity, where they are doing some amazing things. Check out their market every 2nd Saturday!

Incubator farm plots, community gardens, kids learning zone, food forest, and a monthly farmers market.

Many thanks to staff and vendors for making us feel welcome and for the farm tour!

New Roots Farm Stand May 17th 8am-11am! Come join us this weekend to shop local organically grown produce!
We will be having a simple summer squash food demo and recipe cards for all shoppers!
Bring the kids to the garden and show them how food is grown in AZ all year!

Come stock up on seasonal, fresh, organic produce! $1 for $1 match for EBT users through the double up food bucks program. Cash and cards also accepted.
Games and sidewalk chalk available for kids along with self guided tours of the herb garden and Aquaponics greenhouse.

Farm fresh produce for sale supporting Phoenix refugee farmers. Use EBT for 50% match, Cash and Credit card also accepted.

Come join New Roots Farm Stand and support small scale urban farming. The Farm Stand is an incubator market for beginning farmers and gardeners interested in starting their farm business.

Farmers participating grow local, seasonal produce using organic methods. All profits return to each individual farmer.

9am Paint and Plant- a free craft project for all ages and pot to plant in
9:30am Breathing and Stretching- get your weekend started with a mindful relaxation exercises
10:30am Cooking Demonstration- join the New Roots team as they make a delicious snack with the seasonal produce.
