We had a good turnout today and some great shooting as usual. The weather was perfect and everyone seemed to be having a good time. Brooks made it all the way to 2nd place but ended up falling to 3rd by the end. Kobe and Danielle also had some awesome scores. Mary and Kariesa provided a much needed and very tasty lunch for all of us starving athletes.

Congrats to Scott Logan, Philip Graham, Daryl Wheeler and Les Roberts for each getting a 2500.

Frank Shook led the unlimited class from wire to wire and Scott Logan led the factory class most of the day with some very impressive shooting. Brooks took top honors in the youth category.

Everyone has been talking about it and it's almost time... next week we will be hosting our FIRST EVER R***r 10/22 Semi-Auto match. So get those old reliable rifles out, knock the dust off and come on out! There's nothing more fun to do on a Friday night than to come shoot with us

The winner will win a brand new 75th Anniversary R***r 10/22 rifle!

That's right, the person who scores the most points out of 3 targets will win a new rifle.

In addition, 2 LUCKY YOUTH WILL WIN $125 gift certificates to HAYWOOD SHOOTING SUPPLY just for participating in the match.

This is sure to be a good time with lots of fun and great prizes.

Don't have a R***r 10/22 yet? That's ok, we've got you covered! Even the 10/22 clones (Bergara BXR, Savage RXR22, Volquartsen, Kidd, etc) can be used.

Great turnout last night, 26 shooters! Perfect weather too.
Semi-auto class is growing nicely. We had some more first time shooters (first time at our match) too. We love getting people in and showing them what a great group of people we have to shoot and hang out with.

We've had some questions about the rules for the game that we'll be playing this Friday night. It's called "The Score is Right" and it's based on the idea from the show "The Price is Right" where you lose if you ever go OVER the purchase price of an item.
