We were excited to welcome Glasgow Middle School Career Exploration students to the Culinary Arts pathway today! Students got hands-on experience learning about knife safety, practicing basic knife cuts, and exploring FCS. We loved sharing a taste of what our program has to offer! 👩‍🍳

FCS Essentials students visited the Barren County Cooperative Extension Service last week for a fun and educational Stitch and Sew Session! Members of the Barren County Homemakers joined us to teach students the fundamentals of sewing, including threading a needle, stitching, hemming, and sewing on buttons. 🧵🪡

We are so grateful for our community members who take the time to share their skills and teach today’s youth valuable life skills!
