Congrats to this BOOSTful duo, Sheryl and Bonnie! Even though they would much rather be playing a game of Mah Jongg, these two dedicated Boost KC members step up, reach out, and work tirelessly every month to fill every shift on THE ReSALE SHOP volunteer calendar. Their BOOSTful commitment helps ensure Boost KC generates the funds needed to support our organization’s eight philanthropic programs.

As Boost KC's largest source of income, The ReSale Shop - Powered by Boost KC requires more than 60 volunteers each week. Bonnie and Sheryl make phone calls, send emails, and personally connect with members to recruit openers, closers, cashiers, greeters, sales floor volunteers and donation door attendants.

Congratulations to Mya Williams, a graduate of Excelsior Springs High School and recipient of the Jason Merrill Memorial Scholarship, administered by Boost KC. Mya is heading to the University of Central Missouri to pursue her passion for music and her goal of becoming a music educator. Her resilience, leadership, kindness and determination have helped prepare her for this exciting next step. As Mya heads to UCM this fall, we are proud to celebrate her accomplishments and the bright future ahead.

Congratulations to our 1st, 2nd and 3rd Place teams at this year's Dinks for a Difference pickleball tournament! Thank you for bringing your competitive spirit, great sportsmanship and enthusiasm to the courts. 🏆

We're grateful to everyone who participated and helped make the tournament such a fun and successful event. Thanks to your support, Dinks for a Difference netted approximately $4,000, with all proceeds supporting Boost KC's programs.

As we wrap up Dinks for a Difference, we simply want to say thank you. To every player, volunteer, sponsor and supporter who helped make the tournament such a success — thank you for your time, enthusiasm and generosity. Whether you competed on the courts, worked behind the scenes or cheered others on, you helped create a day filled with fun, camaraderie and community spirit.

Most importantly, your participation will have a lasting impact beyond the pickleball courts. Proceeds from the tournament help support Boost KC's volunteer-powered programs, providing clothing, educational resources and compassionate support that boost confidence, opportunity and dignity for thousands of our neighbors throughout Kansas City.
