WESLEYAN HERITAGE WORKSHOP

The next Wesleyan Heritage Workshops will be focused on the history of John Wesley and his life as it relates to the development of what we now know as the United Methodist Church.

This is a two-week workshop set for Thursday October 15 & October 22 in room 136 from 6:30pm-8pm.

These are great workshops whether you are a cradle Methodist or if you have recently started attending First Gilbert and just want to learn more.

Youth (6th grade to 12th grade) are invited to participate in First Sunday. This is a joint venture with our church, Chandler UMC, and St. Matthew UMC. We are meeting at Chandler this Sunday October 4, 2026 from 4pm-5:30pm. Chandler UMC is located at 450 E. Chandler Heights Road Chandler, AZ 85249.

First Sunday includes dinner and we will be doing a project sanding, putting together, and painting benches that will be donated. Wear clothes that can get dirty, plan to have a great time, and meet other youth.

Pastor Adriana will be in attendance and is available to drive a kiddo to Chandler UMC where we will be meeting.
