I’ve been quietly working on something very close to my heart — and I’m finally ready to share it. 🌙✨

I’ve written a children’s book called The Little Prince and the Light of the Moon. It was inspired by bedtime conversations with my oldest son about the moon — how it glows so beautifully in the dark because it reflects the light of the sun.

That image reminded me of something powerful: just as the moon reflects the sun, we’re called to reflect the light of Jesus — to shine in dark places through love, kindness, and forgiveness.

This story isn’t just for children; it’s for families. My prayer is that it becomes a gentle ritual — to pause, look up at the moon, and remember God’s light and presence that never fades. 🌕

I’ve already begun the illustration process, but the main step left to complete this project is finishing the artwork that will bring the story to life. I’m inviting my friends and family to come alongside me through prayer, encouragement, or by supporting the illustration and publishing process. 💛

We are relentless in our gathering. For we know, it is in the fulfillment of scripture that we continue to do so.

Hebrews 10:24-25

24 And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works: 25 Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.

I am confident that discipleship and intimacy with the God is where true growth matters. For Jesus said, “Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit…” We will not forsake gathering together. For in ups and downs in life, it’s in Christ-centered community and the direction of the Holy Spirit we can find guidance, strength, and encouragement.

Jesus says,
““A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.””

If community hurt you, it’s in community you heal. Resist the urge to withdrawal. God made us for community. In the thick of pain, loneliness, disappointment, grief, and suffering draw near to God and connect in community (even if 1 or 2 people). Don’t forsake wise counsel in the midst of hard times. If you don’t have wise community, get yourself a counselor that can be a resource as you navigate suffering. I’m cheering you on.

There is something really beautiful about meeting together in a community where judgments are left behind and where we embrace each other. We spoke about offense in this last meeting. Keeping a record of wrong stops us from loving others well. Releasing our grievances towards others and even the events in our life that hurt us helps us live in freedom. This soul work needs to take place in partnership with God who is the one who no longer holds a record of wrong over us in Christ Jesus. He is the example we follow. If you’re looking to dive deep in your relationship with God, others, and the community you are welcome to join us.
