Thank you to everyone at Stellar Adventures for continuing their sponsorship of Natural Restorations! Stellar Adventures has been a Sponsor since 2023 and we are honored to have their continued support our Restoration Programs, including removing trash & graffiti from along the trails on the U.S. Forest Service-Tonto National Forest.
*
We are proud to partner with organizations committed to helping us restore Arizona’s outdoor spaces & providing restoration work in nature to Military Veterans on our Dedicated Restoration Team.
*
In addition to their sponsorship, they generously donate prizes to our volunteer raffles & fundraisers, as well as donating the delivery & use of their portable bathrooms at our volunteer events at Four Peaks & Lower Sycamore. They have also provided shuttle services to volunteers at Hewitt Station Cleanups & helped us pick up trash.
*
Thanks again to everyone at Stellar Adventures for investing in Arizona’s outdoor spaces & helping us put our mission into action every day!

Last December, our Dedicated Restoration Team removed 38 square feet of graffiti from Four Peaks OHV area & 7,540 pounds (3.77 tons) of trash & 6 tires from Lower Sycamore OHV Area on the U.S. Forest Service-Tonto National Forest.
*
It is against the law to spray paint targets on rocks & boulders on public lands, including the Tonto National Forest. If target shooting is legal in the area you're in, use steel, self-healing, or paper targets instead of spray painting them in nature.
*
Fire Restrictions & Target Shooting: always check current fire restrictions before going target shooting. The Tonto National Forest is currently under State 1 Fire Restrictions! During Stage 1, discharging a firearm, air rifle, or gas gun is prohibited AT ALL TIMES. Please don't set the forest on fire!

2526.18 pounds of trash removed! Last Tuesday, after the Memorial Holiday Weekend, we hit the Lower Salt River with our Dedicated Restoration Team, Salty Scuba Squad, SWATT - Salt River Waste and Trash Team, River Rangers AZ, Redline Rentals and Sales , Saguaro Lake Guest Ranch, Mesa AZ, & Salt River Tubing.
*
After enjoying a delicious breakfast at Phon D from First Watch on Dobson (thank you, SWATT for setting this up & coordinating), everyone drove to different rec sites along the river to launch. Our team launched at Pebble Beach with divers from Salty Scuba Squad. Check out photos from our float down the river.
*
HUGE thanks to Salt River Tubing for picking up our trash at several stops along the way! We cannot thank you enough for saving us from hiking over 2,500 pounds of trash from the river up to dumpsters in the parking areas. Thank you for also going out on the river with all of us!
*
VAPES - 21.4 lbs in vapes removed from the river! Vapes are rapidly becoming one of the most common things we find in the river & along the riverbanks.
*
39 phones recovered, as well as a set of keys, 3 wallets, & 1 gopro. Head over to Salty Scuba Squad if you're missing valuables, they post items recovered on the river.

Today and everyday, we honor, remember and celebrate those who have sacrificed for our freedom. Not a day goes by that we are not deeply aware of how much was given for our freedom. Their courage will never be forgotten!

We would like to thank everyone from Mesa Leadership & their Class of 2026 for donating $1,516.85 in support of our mission earlier this month at their graduation celebration. Thank you for your continued support!
*
Last Fall, Natalia Smith, Mesa Leadership Class Member & Natural Restorations Volunteer, submitted a class project in support of Natural Restorations that ended up being runner up to a new courtyard for the Mesa Historical Museum. In addition to this really cool project for the museum, they still wanted to support our organization.
*
Thanks again for considering our organization for your class project & raising funds for our mission! We also received a $440 donation from Mesa Leadership's current class members & Alumni last December at their Holiday Party.
*
The Mesa Leadership Training & Development Program was inaugurated in 1981 with the belief that every community has potential leaders who are seeking the opportunity to serve and who need exposure to the information, organizations, and leaders to make that service possible.
*
Forty years later, they are proud to say that over 800 alumni have graduated from the Mesa Leadership Training & Development Program. Many of their graduates have pursued public office, served on non-profit boards or city commissions, and/or donated their time and energies in a variety of ways to benefit the city of Mesa and its residents.

Last fall during the government shutdown, we were unable to get our Target Shooting Closure Order enforced for the annual Four Peaks & Sugar Loaf Cleanup so we dropped Sugar Loaf from the volunteer side of the event. Shortly after, we took our Dedicated Restoration Team out to Sugar Loaf & The Rolls OHV Areas & removed 4,360 pounds (2.18 tons) of trash & 3 tires.
