Moosehaven and continual custodial service for those entrusted to our care. Gettysburg Moose Lodge 1526 is committed to a positive leadership role in our communities as demonstrated by the establishment of modern lodge facilities and family centers to host activities for the entire family, complete and varied sports programs and assistance to our neighbors in need through community service programs. This is accomplished through continuous leadership training programs that adhere to high ethical standards, excellence, quality and total volunteer commitment by every lodge officer. Gettysburg Moose Lodge 1526 is a charitable, non-discriminatory, nonprofit corporation funded primarily by members of the Moose.

Saturday Evening we took a moment to present our 2025-2026 Moose of the Year award to Bernadette Sterner. New PMA State President Ben Snyder was along for our bus trip during the afternoon, so it was a perfect chance to show our appreciation. Bernadette has done a fantastic job with the landscaping and front signage of the Lodge, and is always willing to pitch in and help out during our events.

WOW, What a day!!! This was the first Bus Trip that Gettysburg has taken in about ten years and it was a fun one!!

We'd like to thank the area Lodges for extending their hospitality and allowing us to visit: Carlisle Moose #761, Shippensburg Moose #2500, Mercersburg Moose #1790, Waynesboro Moose #1191, and McSherrystown Moose #720!

We were privileged to be joined by new PMA President Ben Snyder and his wife Adrienne... not a bad way to check those Lodge visits off the list!

Big thanks to Lodge President Dave Wolfe for organizing the trip, and Yvonne and Donna for selling tickets between stops.

Also a big thanks to Wolfe Buses and our driver Andrew for putting up with our madness for the day.

Okay, the Mystery Bus Trip is *definitely* on, deposit has been placed!

Saturday, August 22. Are you interested???

10am Departure from Gettysburg. We will visit a few Lodges "in the area" and return that evening.

$60/person for bus ticket. Bus has a bathroom! IYKYK.

Trip is open to any Moose member, you don't need to belong to our Lodge.

Sign-up sheet is in the Lodge, bartender will take your $$$.

Members of other Lodges may send a PM for arrangements.
